Update on former Arkansas Judge Mike Maggio

In March of last year a bribery scandal involving Arkansas Judge Mike Maggio hit my radar.  Jane Tucker has an update and it appears Maggio finally pleaded guilty to taking $24,000 in campaign contributions in exchange for reducing a verdict against a nursing home from $5.2 million to $1 million.  Even more details are available at the Arkansas Times.  Hopefully, the former judge will spill the beans so that lady justice’s hatchet can fall on the crooked businessmen involved with paying the bribe.
